Andy is currently Professor of Immunology and a Principal Investigator with the Obesity Immunology Research Group (OIRG) which is based between Maynooth University and St Vincent’s University Hospital Ireland. Currently, his research focuses the metabolic regulation of MAIT cells and the impact of chronic diseases such as obesity and cancer. The OIRG is funded by Health Research Board, Research Ireland and the St Vincent’s Foundation.
