Minori Asa

Minori Asa is a postdoctoral fellow at Osaka University. She received her PhD from Kyoto University under the supervision of Professor Masahiko Sugita, focusing on MHC class I presentation. She is currently working with Professor Sho Yamasaki at Osaka University on unconventional T cells. Her research centers on understanding the role of innate-like T cells in viral and bacterial infections and elucidating the structural basis of their TCR recognition. Her work is supported by JSPS KAKENHI (Grants-in-Aid for JSPS Fellows and Early-Career Scientists) and by the MEXT Program for the Promotion of Joint Usage/Research Center Projects.
